Wet felting gives me the opportunity to play with colors and textures using merino wool fiber and other materials such as silk fabric, bamboo fibers, or even my own Pygora goat fleece.  As a former engineer, I enjoy the design process - figuring out shrinkage in the fulling process or how to create a template for 3-dimensional items.  The possibilities with felt are endless! While I've not been juried by the League of NH Craftsmen for wet felting, I do make and sell these items at other venues such as pop-up shops, studio tours, local craft fairs, and private sales.
