On my work table...
I'm always creating something new! You can find my work for sale at the brick and mortar locations listed on the home page, but to see my most recent creations, follow me on Instagram @dunroaminfarmdesign. If you see anything you like on Instagram, message me to claim it before it goes into any of the galleries. Here are some examples of recent work:
Felted clothing and accessories
Felting gives me the opportunity to play with colors and textures using merino wool fiber and other materials such as silk fabric, bamboo fibers, or even my own Pygora goat fleece. As a former engineer, I enjoy the design process - figuring out shrinkage in the fulling process or how to create a template for 3-dimensional items. The possibilities with felt are endless!

Needle felted animals and landscapes
Using barbed needles, I create lifelike animal portraits with wool fiber using a photograph for reference. I try to capture the spark of personality in the softness and warmth of felted wool. I also needle felt landscapes. Limited images are available for purchase or contact me for a commission.

Fiber art jewelry
I make cuff bracelets using scrap yarn and silk fabric using a rug hooking tool to make unique, fun fabric. The bracelets are lined, usually with scrap silk fabric, and have a sturdy box clasp. I also have started using wool felt scraps to make pins. Inexpensive, one-of-a-kind, colorful, wearable art!
