In 2008 our family settled on 5 acres in rural Western Massachusetts.  We wasted no time in planting a large garden, building a chicken coop, and acquiring Pygora goats.  We decided that this was where we wanted to put down roots: we were "done roamin'."  That was not to be, however.  After 15 years, our goats and chickens gone, we pulled up our roots and moved north to the Monadnock region of NH, to a hidden lake in the hills.  This is where I now create fine felted clothing and accessories, hooked rugs, and realistic animal portraits from wool in my home studio.  The self-sufficiency and work ethic of Dunroamin Farm lives on.  Much of my inspiration for my art comes from the colors in my garden, the lake vistas, and the vibrant New England landscape.  Find my work at these galleries:
